Supported Independent Living

The Supported Independent Living Program (S.I.L.) is designed for individuals who are currently living in the community, moving out on their own, or about to leave a hospital or residential facility. A Community Support Worker provides initial and ongoing support as needed in the areas of budgeting and household management to improve an individual’s life skills and assist with community integration.

A rent subsidy is provided to assist in finding and securing safe and affordable housing. Community Living Support service is also provided as required.
